Exchange on Missing Chronicles

Patterns of evolution and biodiversity from paleontological records, similar to archaeological research topics, constitute a field of study that requires ingenious research methods, creativity and persistence. Within the context of the Anthropocene and a resurgent interest in “civilizations,” what newly understood chronicles need additional attention from both the paleontology and archaeology fields?
